Dr. Whitaker received his postgraduate training in Diagnostic Radiology at Northwestern University Hospitals in Chicago, IL. He completed his internship at the Illinois Masonic Hospital, also in Chicago.
He received his Doctor of Medicine from the Northwestern University Medical School in Chicago and his 1976-1980 Bachelor of Arts (summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa)from Kansas State University in Manhattan, KS.
