Yes! You can see an incredible moving image of your unborn child with Sound Medical Image's 4D Ultrasound machine -- and even take that image home with you as a short video if you'd like!
In January of 2004 our new GE Voluson ultrasound machine was installed at our state-of-the-art facility in Conway, New Hamphshire.
Our new GE Voluson is a top-of-the-line ultrasound machine of the latest design. The images are better: more resolution, clearer pictures. Images are stored digitally on CD's instead of on film.
The VOLUSON 730 features the latest advance in Ultrasound imaging. The Real Time 4D imaging provides the opportunity to quickly and easily image organs and fetuses to improve the patient experience.
Our new GE VOLUSON 730 will improve the level of care we deliver through allowing us to acquire volume measurements.
We have seen patient satisfaction increase significantly because patients are better able to understand the ultrasound images. Plus, we can apply scanning techniques to stored image data after the patient has left so patients don't have to come back to the office for additional imaging.
We are using 4D imaging for the following applications:

- Women's Health, such as coronal pelvic views and breast imaging

Convenience and Modern Technology
We have a medical imaging network in Conway, and our machine is networked for this set up. This means that ultrasound machines at Sound Medical Imaging can be viewed anywhere in the world. Our radiologist, Dr. Whitaker, can be anywhere and still be able to look at digital images being captured at Sound Medical Imaging in Conway, NH.
